Motivation and Leadership

Restaurant leadership is not about being loud or strict. It’s about creating clarity, fairness, and momentum—so the team performs consistently even during high-pressure service.

        Praise what you want repeated: calm service, clean stations, helping teammates, problem-solving. Recognition is a powerful and low-cost way to build culture.

    A Practical Leadership Rhythm

    Use three moments: (1) pre-shift briefing with priorities, (2) active leadership during service with calm direction, (3) post-shift check-in with one improvement point and one recognition moment. This creates momentum.
